CONSTRUCTION STATISTICS. (Rec. October 16, 7.10 p.m.) London, October 15. "Lloyds' Register" states that there wore 2,800.000 tons of shinning under construction in the United Kingdom on Sep. tember 30. This represents nn increase of 293,000 tons compared with the figures of .Tune 30. A feature of the increase is t.ho 'number of bigger ships. The returns show that tlio tonwuso under construction abroad is 5,232,000, of which 2.584.000 is undor Lloyds' Register.—"The Times." (Rec. October IG, 11.20 p.m.) London, October 15.
