CHARGED WITH THEFT PROM DWELLINGS. Bjr Telccranb.—Press Ajeocl&tlon. Christchurch, October 19. Warden, the escaped prisoner, appeared at tho Magistrate's Court on two cliaros of theft from dwellings, the total value of the articles bsing £32 15s. A considerable quantity of the stolen coods, (consisting of jewellery and an automatic pistol, was found on accused whsn arrested. Warden pleaded not CTlilty, and wns committed for trial. The charge of escaping from . Mount Eden Gaol was adjourned to November 10.
