KESTRICTING LEGISLATION AMENDED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, October 14. Tho "Star's" Fiji correspondent states that a meeting of tho Legislative Council, hurriedly convened, passed legislation amending tho previous resolution placing restrictions on Germans passed as a result of strong agitation against allowing aliens to rfcumc business as before Hie war. The reason given was that the first ordinance was in opposition lo tho Peace Treaty.
