At a meeting of the New Zealand' Milking Shorthorn Association on Saturday, notification was received from the Direc-tor-General of Agriculture that the ' brand "D.5.," in an oval ring, ha<l been •'registered as the association's .brand niark. Mr. Guy Gillies, of Parinoa, was appointed a member of the committee in place of the late Mr, Holmes Warren, to whose relatives a vote of sympathy .was passed.
