TROPIC'S COAL CARGO
DISPUTE SETTLED. By Telegraph—Press .«BEOciatlon. Christchurch, October 10. At the conferenco held this morning ooncorning the dispute over the discharge of the Tropic's coal cargo, it was announced that the companies had agreed to the men's demands to pay 2s. 9d. per hour, and work was resumed on the vessel at 1 p.m.
