' A new departure in engineering tuition was entered upon by the Board of Managers of the Masterton Technical School recently, when they formed senior and junior classes for motor engineering students. -Though the classes for the beginners havo been well patronised, those for the more advanced pupils hare so far been poorly attended. It is now proposed to convert the latter classes-to the ■use of motor-car owners and drivers who may wish to increase their knowledge of the technical side of thoir machines. It was decided t<) forward Mr. Francis Holms, of Wellington, a,letter recognising his services a 9 Masterton's representative on the Wellington' Kailway Committee.
