Sir,-On sovera! occasions lately I haw visited the Athletic Pnrk, Wellington, to tee the Rugby football matches played. As an old RugV player. I must my L am not impressed wth .tiro proper or the same, especially after Uvt Saturday jj match. If something is not done to alter Hip rules with a view to preventing so much iouch-liuo y*\\y I cev tat my nm <>* tho opinion tlio public will not bother witnessing the game. Tn every instance when the hall, after being kicked by any of the buck's, cow right over the touc.n lino (without touching the actual li.oyiiifj field) there should. I think, be.somo penalty. This would make the same much faster and really of to wntcii.—l am, etc., RUGGLR.
