OWING to the acute shortage of Housing accommodation, and to the consequent overcrowding taking place in. many houses in Urn City, the City Council desires to facilitate the conversion into temporary dwellings of such buildings' or portions of buildings as may be suitable for the purpose. ■ Owners of buildings which may be so converted are earnestly requested to communicate with tho Acting City Engineer, who will have the premises inspected and will advise as to what will be necessary in order to enable the buildings to be used for housing purposes.
