At a-meeting of the Christcluirch Presbytery Professor Hewitson, of Dunedin, snbmflted n, report on Hid foreign mission work of tho Presbyterian Church of Now Zealand. The cost of carrying out tills work hnil increased very much of late, because of flie fall in the rate of cxehauge in China and India, and tho Ti'so in tho cost of living. The workwould have to bo curtailed unless greater financial support were received.
