Questioned last night regarding the cabled report of Lord Jellicoe's speech at Suva declaring that that nort was likely to he the future Pacific naval base, the Prime Minister indicated that the .remarks ehois'.d not be taken too seriously. He wid that, it could hardly be seriously accepted that Suva, would ie chosen in preference to other, ports the selection of which had previously been considered.
