LADIESTOURNAMENT. : Bv Telofrraph-l'ri'Bs Astociatlon. Auckland, October 6. The .New Zealand ladies' , golf championship meeting was continued in showery weather. In tho play-off for the Melsop Cup, Miss Wright defeated Miss Payton, the scores being 87 and 92. Jlis9 Wright also won from Mrs. Slack in tho play-off,for tho best'gross. 6core in tho Ladies' Golf Union Championship.
