Sir James Allen, who passed, through to-day on his way south, stated that, the first volume of tho history of tho New Zealand"Expeditionary Forco was in' tho hands of the publishers. It dealt'with tho campaign on Qallipoli, and had been compiled by Slnjor' S\ Waitc. Questioned in respect to tho Government's intentions regarding aviation, the Minister- stated that tho Bristol and Do Haviland machines in .tho Dominion at present had beon taken over by tho Government. He could not state at present what steps the Government would tako in tho matter of' a flying establishment. 'Colonel Bettington, Air Adviser to tho Government, had presented his roport, and they were now awaiting Admiral Jelliooc's report before . proceeding, further.
