Two residential properties were offered l>y public auction yesterday afternoon by Messrs. S. George Nathan and Co. at their rooms, Customhouse Quay. Tho first was an 18-rooiued residence. at Wellington Terrace, in the estate of the late Elizabeth O'Connor. This property was passed in, as the reserve was not readied. The next was a 7-roomed residence on Main Road, Wadestown, having a frontage of liGft. to Main lioad and Pitt Street, Wadestov.n, the section being just over a quarter-acre. The bidding started at .£IOOO, and the property who Knocked down to Mr. A. Wicks at A'1909. .Messrs. llarcourt and Co. report, that there was a good attendance at their rooms yesterday, when two sections at Muritai and four sections facing the Parade, Island Bay, were offered at auction. The two sections at Muritai were first offered, and were finally sold to Mr. ,T. A. Hannah for .I'NQ. J'Yir sections No. 410, 413, HO, and 41!), facing the Parade, Island Bay, the reserves were not reached, and tiiey were passed in and are now in (he hands of the auctioneers for private sale.
