TAILORESSES' WAGES
INCREASE GRANTED IN AUCKLAND. n? Teli-cranli.—l'rcsn Association. Auckland, September 25. Increased wages arc to be paid to the Auckland tailorcsses. This decision was arrived at by tho Master Tailors' Union of Emoloyors at a meeting held yesterday. Tho Workers' Union asked that tho rates of pay for weekly hands bo increased from SI 15b. to £2 a week, and tho log rnto from Dd. to lOd. an hour. It was docidod to grant tho rcpest, tho incroases to commence from Monday noxt.
