LADIES' TOURNAMENT. By Taleernnh—Press Association. Christchurch, September 25. The Now Zealand ladies' hockey tournament was continued to-day. Last night's rain made the ground very heavy. The most interesting match was that between Canterbury B and Manawatu, "•■liich was a hard-fought contest. Canterbury only won by tho narrow margin of one goal to nil, their score being obtained shortly before the call of time. Wnnganui beat Nelson l:,y five goals to «nc, and Wellington defeated Auckland by four goals to one.
