Tho entire prodnclion of "Do Luxe Annie" is at present at the theatre awaiting the arrival of tho company. Miss Polini's characterisation of the female "crook," Annie Uelmoro, lias made her famous in 'Australia, where her seasons have been brilliant successes. The east is headed by Miss GeoTgia Harvey, Canadian character actress of distinction, and Mr. Harmon Lee. Tho second production of the season Trill be Max Marcin's play beautiful. AMATEUR COMPETITIONS. Judging by tho large number of sents already booked at the Bristol for the amateur competitions which are to be held at the .Grand Opera . House on Saturday afternoon and evening, a hish-ly-successful season is anticipated. Tho management state that they havo never before had sueli a variety of competitors. The audience are to" be the judges of the prize winners, and the prizes will be presented at each performance.
