LAWN TENNIS
The annual, meeting of Mio Wellington Lawn Tennis Club was held in Exchange' Buildings- last evening. There was a large attendance of members, and a draft programme'of competitions foi the ensuing season was submitted. The following officers were elected President, Mr. lI.'W. Browu; yice-presiden'ls, Messrs. F. Grady, IC. Kirkcaldie, W. Eraser, J. D. Harper, B. Van Staveren; treasurer, Mr. N. C. Witcoinbej secretary, .Miss E. Rogers; committee, Miss Allman, Messrs. H. Henderson, L. Incli, C. Pearson, W. D. Irous; auditor, Mr. E. R. Norman. During tho iiitau.-g prizes /wero presented for trophies tvon during the previous season. It was unanimously deoided to run several Yankee . tournaments early in the coming season.. A hearty vote of thanks to the | chairman concluded a most successful meetinj,
