The fruit will vrobably be discharged on Monday, and if it is the vessel will go on to Lyttelton that evening. Tho City of Winchester is to leavo Aw*, land this morning for Wellington to continue the discharge of hor New York cargo. AUSTKATiPLAIN DUE TO-MORROW. From New York; via Auckland, tho Australian Government's steamer Anstralplain is duo in port Jj-raorrow morning to continue the discharge of hor oil cargo. The Union Company are agents for the vessel. The P. and S. steamer Durham left port yesterday for Wanganui to continue her Homeward loading. A radio message received from tho Union collier Kauri yesterday stated that the vessel should arrive in the stream at noon to-day. On completion of discharge sho will load for Melbourno about tho end o£ next week. Tho Now Zealand Shipping Company's Opawa is due back in port next Wednesday or Thursday from Lyttelton to complete Homeward loading. She is to sail lor London, via Panama, on September 27. Tho Kolari was reported yesiorday to be still bar-bound at Greymouth. The Kahika is due to-day from New Plymouth. Sho is to return to tho Taranaki port on Monday. Tito .Kosamoud is due to-day from Dunedin, Oainaru, aud Tintaru. On Monday afternoon the vessel is to • ail for Lyttelton to load for Nelson aud New Plymouth. On Monday tho Komata is due from Westport with a cargo of coal. Sho is to proceed back to the Coast port on Wednesday. With a part cargo of coal for Wellington tho Katoa is due to-morrow morniuir. After discharging the Wellington portion of her cargo the collier will jiroceed to Auckland to put out the remainder. To~day tho Monowai will receive no cargo for Lyttelton Tho New Zealand and African Company haß received cable advico that tho A. ana A. Sho is to proceed on to the Sounds to load a cargo of posts for the East Coast this afternoon. The Magic left yesterday mormnc; for Sandy Bay to load a cargo of stone. She is due back on Thursday. The green leading light at the eutranco to Otago Harbour was demolished by an exceptionally heavy sea which was running at the Holds last Saturday. Tho light was snown from the pile structuro which once constituted <ho extreme seaward end of the old wooden mole. It i* stated that shiwping would not be handicapped if the piles to support the new light were placed 100 feet north of tho site of the old light. This would glvo greater width of cliaunelTo r vessels entering and leaving the harbour. The Duncdin-owned barque Antiope arrived at Suva on Sunday last after a passage of 14 days from Wellington.
