ENTERTAINMENTS
"GOODY TWO SHOES." All went merrily again at the Opera House last evening, when "fjoody Two Shoes" delighted another largo audience. Spectacular pantomime, with .emphasis on (he adjective, holds its plsco with tho people well, and it will continue to do so while J. C. Williamson, Ltd., continuo to mount it so well as they do, and while really excellent specialty iicts we included in the performance. Madam Jewel's Marionettes, tho ICcnna Brothers, tho Kirchner ballet, and the Toyland sceno are all very popular, and are sufficient in tlicinselves to attract crowded -houses till the final curtain is rung down n week hence. Besides tho performances each evening there will be a matinee tomorrow afternoon. - DRAMATIC RECITAL. The annual dramatic recital by Mr. and Mrs. Culford. Bell's pupils is always popular' with the Wellington public, and judging by the advertised items, this year's entertainment, which is to 'be held in the Concert Chamber on Monday and Tuesday next, should be right up' to the standard. A different programme will be given each evening, and the recitals will (start at 7.4-5. Included in the Tccitals aro the fairy plays, "Paddlv Pools." "The Rose and the Rins," and ''The Old Toys"; playlets, "Tho . Wooden Shoes," "J\ono San," "By Proxy," and "A Pair of Schemers, 1 ' also a quaint sketch for the tiny tots entitled "Roiling tho Pantry," and numerous other Items. The entertainments are under lie patronage of Their Excellencies tho Earl and Countess of Liverpool. Seats may bs booked at the Bristol.
