John Henderson, 11 retired miner from Skippers, aged 81, died suddenly tins evening, while'seeing a friend irom a train at Burkc's railivny station, LITTLE BOY DROWNED. By Telegraph-Press Association. Auckland, September 17. A boy named Gonlon Atholl Cowley, o"ed 21 years, was found drowned in the Imrbour to-day. Wanganui, September 17. A serious motor accident occurred at Jlarniißi Hill to-night, 11 car'going over a bank and somersaulting till brought up against a fence, am! badly smashed. A young man named Hirdy was i'ounu unconscious in a paddock, having evidently bebnT.iro.wn across the fence. Ho was removed to the hospital, where he lies 111 a critical state.
