The Houso of Boprosentatives met at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. a SIR. JOHN HNDLAY (Hawko's Bay) moved the second reading of tho Charles Joseph . Jury Bstato Empowering Bill. He explained that tho Bill proposed to make possible the carrying out of a family arrangement rendered necessary by the incomplete will of tho lato Charles Joseph Jury. The Bill was read a second time.
Four days' leave of absence was grant, ed to Mr." A. B. Glover (Auckland Central) on account of illness.
