LABOUR BODY CONSIDERING DIRECT ACTION.

At a meeting of tho Canterbury Trades and Labour Council, the following resolution was carried: "That we set up a committeo to take into consideration the advisability or otherwise of taking direct action against the ever-increasing cost of living."
