The British tennis players in the Davis Cur competition are unable to arrive before the end of November or early _ in December, owing to transport difficulties. The Australian Lawn Tennis Association, therefore, has been asked to postpone tho match, so as to givo the British players a clear month for practice.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Sydney, September 10.
