NEW TECHNICAL COLLEGE
* : TENDERS TO BE CALLED. Mr. Georgo Frost (chairman of the Wellington Technical Education Board) returned from a visit to Chriutchurch yesterday morning. With Mr. John Swan, architect, Mr. Frost visited Christchurch to see Mr. J. 11. Howell (the now director of the Wellington Technical College) for a final consultation over tho plans of tho now edifko which is to dignify tho somewhat drab aspect of Mt. Cook. Mr. Frost stated yesterday that as the result of tho visit in a very short timo tenders would bo called for tho erection of the now college.
