At a meeting of Ilia Accountant Students' Society lipid 1a.4 evening, Mr. 11. D. Vickory, I'.l'.A. (i"i./,.), delivered im interesting' and instructive lecture, entitled "Sonic 1 Notes on Secretarial Practice." Ho save many practical hints to would-be company secretaries, illustrated by cases, vhiiili. had came under his notice. (Hiring his practice as a public accountant. Mr. Viekery was heartily thanked at the'close of the meeting. Amongst llio-'c prcsct-'l, were Messrs. T. Anton and W. Harrington, two former officers of the society, who were warmly welcomed upon their return from activo service.
