MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS. The Management: Committeeoo f the Wellingtpn Football Association met layt evening. Mr. W. Auld presided. With regard to Wadestown Club's protest against the referee, in the llaristWadestown fourth class match, the Mnrist' and Wadestown' captains attended and gave their version of the referee. The Wndestowii "ioacli" also attended. It was decided to ask the referee in question to appetr at n>?xt meeting.
It was decided that the ■junior championship bo awarded te Johosonville. The Town Clerk wrote informing the committee that the Bai-in Reserve and all other city reserves, except Kilbirnie Reserve and LvaU. Bay grounds, are to be closed to winter spoils from September 1.
The Boys' Sub-Committee reported that arrangements in connection with the visit of the .Canterbury boys' team are well in hand.
A telegram was receivsid from the Wanganhi Association asking for a date for (i Brown Shield match. It.was deciijed to inform the Wanganui Association that it would bo impossible io piny a match this Season. It was decided, owing to the lateness of the 6eason, to advise the Boys' Gordon Ilall (Christchurch) team that it ■would be impossible to play a match this 6enson. ,
The committee deeidod.unanimously: "That in tho opinion of the committ(>: (he decision of the reftirce (-Mr. A. E. Wells) ill awarding a penalty kick against the goalkeeper of H.M.S.
