, REGULATION OF PRICES. Perth, August 30. Tho Legislative Assembly has passed a Bill raising the rate of interest which tho Government might pay for new loans from 5 to G per cent. The Prices Regulation Bill was read a second time. It provides tlmt tho Government may fix the prices of necessary commodities upon a report of a commissioner appointed to inquire into tho .prices of necessities.—Press Assn.
