LIVERPOOL WOOL SALES
(Rec. August 29,10.10 p.m.) London, August 28. At the Liverpool wool sales 14,000 bales were offered. Best merinos brought 10 to 15 percent, above London closing rates, and ordinary merinos andfine crossbreds 7J per ceptl American and Continental buyers are operating freely. At the Braford market sales are difficult, owing to, the coal strike, but the tone is improving. _ Some business has been done for Into delivery.-i-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
