Mr. Maurice Ralph, representative in New Zealand for Messrs. J. and N. Tait has been definitely advised by cablegram that Sir Harry Lauder cannot come to Neiv Zealand this trip. The Dominion had regrettably to bo cut out on account of the restrictions.and delays caused by the epidemic and shipping strike ill Australia. Mr. Ralph has also been advised 'that the famous English baritone, Mr. Harry Dearth, will leave Sydney for Auckland by the Makura on September i, to undertake a tour of New Zealand. This artist, who was brought out from England by J. and N. Tait, was announced to give four concerts in Melbourne, but such was his success tlmt ho remained, to' give no fe\ver than twenty-two. Mr. Dearth will 'be supported by a- first-class concert company.
