REGISTRATION BILL IN FEDERAL PARLIAMENT. ' Melbourne, August 28. The Aliens Registration Bill has been read a firjt time in the Senate. The Bill provides for the compulsory registration of all aliens and their families in the Commonwealth. It defines an alien as any person over the age of sixteen who is not of Britisli nationality. Change of address must bo notified, and hotel and lodginghouse-keepers must furnish particulars of all aliens on their premises. —Press Assn. .
