At a meeting of the committee of the Wellington Returned Soldiers* Association on Wednesday night, it was resolved: "That Admiral of the Fleet Viscount Jellicoe, of ScapTi, G.C.8., 0.M., G.C.V.O. I( he elected an honorary 'lite member or' the association, and that'll sold badge of membership he. presented to his Lordshiii before his departure from Wellington." . ' The Admiral has signified his pleasure in the action of the sssociation, and has agreed to receive tls= committee of the Wellington Association, and representatives of the New Zealand Association, on the quarter-deck of lI.'M'.S. New Zealand on Saturday, when the presentation will bo made to him. The R.S.A. had hoped to have been able to arrange for the ceremony to take place in the Town 11*'.", so that the very large number ofex-service men , resident in the city and suburbs 'might have had an opportunity of attending and greeting the Dominion's distinguished guest; but Lord Jellicoe's engagements precluded this idea being carried into effect.
