J. ]?olßon, of Wnnganui, will deliver an address to fanners on the best ineann of dealing with the present meat congestion in New Zealand stores. Mr. A. T. Grand, of Carterton, has purchased 9G6 acres of land in the Kahutara district from Mr. L. B. Wnrren, a well-known I/)wer Valley settler. It is the intention of Mr. J. W. Card, Mayor of Featherston, to leave on an extended tour abroad at the end of the year.
