A meeting of tho Management Com- . mittee of the AVrflington Cricket Association was held last evening. Present:— Messrs. C. G. Wilson (chairman), W A. Tiaker, W. 6. Hughes, K. H. Tucker, 1). M'Konzic, M. J. Croiubie, V. B. Willie. A letter was received from the New Zealand Cricket Council conveying a re solution passed at a recent meeting of the Management Committee that South Australia should be invited to ssnd a representative team to New Zealand during the coining season, and failing this that 'ho management be authorised tn negotiate with any other Australian State or with the Australian Board of Control with ii view to sending a representative team. It was decided to support the proposal. A letter was received from the Nomads Cricket Clnb, Rsking for it match with Wellington on January 8 or 9, 1920. It was decided that the necessary arrangements should bo made to bring about the proposed match. A general discussion took place as to the proposal to alter the limnbev of balls to an over from six to eight, a proposal already adopted by the Canterbury Cricket Association, and notice of motion was given by Mr. Tucker that for the future in club cricket eight halls constitute an over, and the. motion will come up for discussion,at the nainual general meeting to bo bold next month. • The draft report auil balance-sheet submitted by the secretary and treasurer were duly adopted, and it was decided to hold the annual meeting on September Mi.
