"THE LAND WE LIVE IN"

. The appeal from a section of the community lor moving pictures of an educational and instructive character appears to have had some solid backing beaind it if a lino can be taken through the production, of "The Land'We Live In," tho first release of the Educational l''ilmCompany, which is liow being' screened at the' Britannia Theatre. On the first two nights of its production the sale of ticKevs has had to be stopped at an early hour; the demand for admission being far in excess of the capacity of the theatre. ' The picture is in tho nature of a comprehensive tour of New Zealand, from the Day of Islands to the Bluff, showing tliei magnificent 6cenio character of the country and dealing exhaustively in pictorial form with ite main industries. It is an "interest picture of a very high class, and psrliaps the best recommendation it can win is tho fact that though it two and a half hours in screening on both nights of the season, so far, the big audienco "sat tight" and declined to make room for late-comers. The picture 6tarts at 7 o'clock and, to mako provision for late-comers, it has been arranged that tho first two thousand feet shall be re-screened at 9.30, so that the whole picture may be scon. The picture will be on viow for tho next four days.
