At the Jocal Court yesterday Mr. Stout, 8.M., convicted and iincd a man J!10 for theft of vegetables from a Chinese garden, and two young men ,£lO eacih for stealing vegetables, and .£u each for assaulting a Chinaman. Five boys woro convicted-and fined 15s. each for stealing from a Chinese shop window.
