WRITING WITH BOTH HANDS
The Headmaster of Eton (Dr. Alington) gave an address recently ut a meeting of tho Windsor braueh of the Workers' Educational Union, held in tho school library at Eton College. Touching on the development of the brain, Dr. 'Alington said that an eminent scientist-discovered that by using tho right hand they developed the left side of tho brain. It 11 a? thought that by using tho left hand the right-hand side of the brain coukl be developed, and it was decided at Eton to start the boys writing with the left hand. However, another eminent scientist later found thai if they developed both sides of the brain at once they became idiots, and the experiment was hufcricdly discontinued.
