THANKS TO MR. POLSON
. Sir,—l think the thanks of. the farmers are due to Mr. Poison for hip efforts on their behalf of tho meat question. It is about time 6omo intelligent man took ■ the matter up, as things have been al-' lowed to xlrift and go from bad to worse this last few years. It seems to bo nobody's business to look after tlia farmers' interests. I would suggest to Mr. Poison that he should also go into tho question of surplus wool money owing to tho. farmers. This was part of the bargain when tho wool was commandeered, and although it. is over tlireo years since the transaction look place iioc a penny of it have we received yet. I jvould also suggest to Mr. Poison that' lie should offer himself a? a candidato at the next election, as it is about time wo had some live business men to look after our interests.—l am, etc., A FARMER. ,
