ONE HI'NDHED MACHINES SELECTED. London, August 21. In connection with the Air Ministry gift: of aeroplanes to the Commonwealth. Senator Pearce lias completed arrangements to accept the following:—'Thirtyfive Avros. titled with lOtl-h.p. .\fons_ engine*;. thirty B.E.Sa. with tSO-h.p. Viper engines; and thirt.v-tivo Do llaviland fla, with 100 h.p. Liberty engines. Some of these'will be used for stjuadron purposes, and the balance for training. The t[Ueslion of shipment of the machines depends upon Ihe provision of hangars — Atis.-N./i. Cable Assn.
