J , /Palmerston North, August 21. a meeting ot the Provincial Executive of the Farmers' Union, the matter of-Hhe wool. emmandeer was discussed, and the following resolution was passed: —"Tlwt seeins that the Government has commandeered all wool, any im"Tidual ■who hold-s his wodl for the sake of high profits should not be at.owed to slap his wool till ail tho stores in New Zealand are. first cleared of produce of every description'. 'That tho Government bo requested to advise the Farmers' Union fiiliy as to the reason for the embargo , on hides, and as to who makes profits on the hides taken under the embargo.".
