A. conference between representatives of the woollen manufacturing companies of the Dominion and the Board of Trade was held :here to-day, Kainpoi, I'etone, Napier, Onehungn. Ashburlou, Oarnaru, .Roslyn and Mosgiel all being represented. A lengthy discussion took pines regarding the cost and price of woollen manufacture during the war period. The following were appointed an advisory committee to act witli the Board of Trade:—Messrs. J. A. Frostick (Kaianoi), W. H. P. Barber (Petone), and F. Cameron (liosgiel).
