MEETING OF MANAGEMENT .COMMITTEE. The Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association ivas held last evening. Mr. W. Auld presided. Mr. W. Auld was appointed manager of the senior team.to visit CliTistclniroh this woek. Mr. Brown is to go to Christohureh as manager of tho schools' team, in place of Mr. Forkins. Brooklyn Club was granted the use.of a ground at Association Park for Satur{iv. G. Blaick was selected as referee for the Wellington-Canterbury Brown Shield match," to bo played at Christchurch on- Saturday. ■ A telegram was received from the Auckland Association postponing the fourth division representative match till next season. The. Wadegtown Club protested against several of the decisions of the referee in the Marist-Wadestown fourth division ma toll. The letter was referred to the Fixtures Committee.
C. Ballard, who .was selooted to play inside left in the Wellington tenm to visit'Ghristohurch this week, informed the chaii-nmn that he was not prepared to play fa that position, and that ho did not intend to make the trip. The meeting decided to ask Ballard to attend the next meeting and to give his Teaaons for withdrawing the Inst moment. In connection with the visit of the ILM.S. New Zealand, the chairman reported that he had arranged a match betveen a team from the ship and Porirua on Saturday., It was decided that a representative B team play the ship's team on Tuesday, and that a representative A team play the ship's cloven on Saturday at tho Basin Reserve. On Saturday evening it was decided to give the visiting team a smoke concert. Messrs. W. Dunam. C. Webster, and H. S'polslcv were appointed a sub-committee to further arrangements in connection with the concert.
Tlio fifth B championship was closed and awarded to Jolinsonviile, with 21 points. Marist were second with 20 points, and Thorndon third with 15 points.
