Colonel John George Adami, M.A., M.J)., LL.D., r.lt.S., has been appointed vice-chancellor ol' Liverpool University, in succession to Sir A. Dale who retires in September. Colonel Adami since 1892 has been professor of pathologv and bacteriology in ll'Gill University, Montreal.
