PRICES OF .WOOLLEN GOODS
« (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Christchurch, August 19. Tho Board of Trndo will meet representatives of the woollen manufacturing industry of tho Dominion in Christchureli on Thursday. Tho intention of the conference is to discuss vtho. passi-' bilitv of a reduction of of woollen goods in the Dominion.
An amendment of (in r.,il Ir.ido regulations provides that i! nni be lawful for any person in deliver or be concerned in tho delivery of any bituminous or semi-bituminous coal tu any person in any area in which tiioso regulations are in force, unless at the samo tiiuo he delivers to that person an co.nal quantity by weight of lignite, or such other' proportion of lignite as the Minister iit Chargo may spociiy with respect to that area. The regulations do not apply to any coal delivored pursuant to a permit issued by n coal tmdo committee. Tho regulations have been extended to includo tho cantrcs of Christchurch and Dunedin and' the surrounding borousbi and counties,
