POLICE STRIKERS
REINSTATEMENT DEMANDED
OR GENERAL STOPPAGE OF LIVERPOOL WORKERS

Labour leaders in Liverpool, representing all trades, unanimously decided to demand the reinstatement of police strikers, otherwise there will bo a general stoppago of all workers in Liverpool on Wednesday, lasting for three days. Tho leaders threaten that this- will be the prelude to further stoppages.—Aus.N.Z. Cablo Assn. DOCKERS REPUDIATE STRIKE REPORT. (Rec. August 17, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 15.' Tho executive of the Liverpool dockers repudiate the report that a strike bus been ordered in support of the police strike, and declared that the men wore ordered to await official instructions — Aus.-N.Z.
