GERMAN BUSINESS MEN
CONDITIONAL ADMISSION TO BRITAIN. (Use. August 17, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 11. Mr. Edward Shortt, speaking in tilt House of Commons, announced that the Government was admitting German business men to Britain, if the admission would benefit British trade. _ The Germans would be subject to suitable conditions—for example, tho duration of their stay and tho places visited they must report to the police, and notify any change of residence. Mr. Shortt added that repatriated Germans would not bo allowed to restart business,— Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
