RETURNING TROOPS
The total number of New Zealand troops now on the water returning to New Zealand from the United Kingdom and Egypt is 0057. They are accompanied by 81G wives and 183 children. Wireless messages havo bean received notifying the following alterations in tho dates of arrival of the transports named: Wesson Draft No. 269): Originally due at Wellington on August 2|l, now due on August 26. Tho alteration is duo to the transport putting into Hobart.
Mnniiiri (Returning Draft No. 274): Now ilue at Auckland at G p.m. on August 19 instead of August 18. Somerset .(Roturninjf Draft No. 278): Now due at .Lylt-elton mid-day August 20. instead of August 19. Eighty-three New Zealanders. late Imperial Forces, being repatriated via Australia, were.to have left Newcastle on Friday last by the Essex for Wellington. They comprise 55 details ex Bremen, and 28 details ex Ormonde.
Tho Defence Department has also been advised that thi> Fredericks Italic, which left the United .Kingdom on July 9, lias 71 New Zealand details on board, and the Prince Ludwig, which left tho United Kingdom on July 10, six New Zealand details.
