WORK TO BE PUSHED FORWARD. By TelexrapH-l'resp -Association. Whakatane, August 15. Mr. Hannah, engineer in charge of f'io Bay of Plenty portion of the East Coast railway, construction, states that arrangements are ,in hand tor 7 a push all along the line, and development* may be expected by the end of tile month. Returned soldiers from' Auckland are taking up the work. ■ ll© further states "that the railway workshop near Tauranga. which was recently burned down, is being replaced by a now workshop covering half an acre. The new building will be one of the best in the Dominion.
