THE WAR CABINET
CONVERSION TO PEACE BASIS.' (Reo. August 14, 11.40 p.m.) London, August 13. It is .understood that the conversion of tho Cabinet from a war to a peace basis has involved considerable modifications in the methods of conducting business. Pull meetings of Ministers will bo rare. The War Cabinet's practice of summoning only Ministers whose departments were directly interested in the questions under consideration will be continued by the inner Cabinet, thereby greatly expediting the business and avoiding merely academic discussions. Contrary to expectations tliero will bo no reconstruction before tho recess, apart from filling the vacant posts of Agriculture and Paymaster-General.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
