The residue of tho estate is divided into two equal sliarco. One share is to bo held in trust as to two purls of the annual inconio for the University ol 'Sydney, and the remaining one-third of the annual income for the University of Brisbaue. The I'.her sliaro of the residue, is divided info three parte, two of which are to bo applied for tho relief or assistance of members' of tho Australian military and na'val expeditionary forces, who have served in aetivo service abroad, or tho widows and children of such members as may have been killed or died of wounds in tho recent war. Tho remaining third part is divided into three parts, of which two parts are to be applied to the advancement of religion in tho State of Now South Wales, in accordance with the tenets of the Presbyterian Church'of Australia, ami for such general educationand all purposes of that church as tho genera! assembly may from limn to time determine. The. remaining third part is to ba applied fur the same objects in tho State of Queensland.

The vnluo of the. estate is about .-£'5.750,000, and tho residue is expected to lm between ,G1,000,000 and '.£1,250,000. Out of that amount tho University of Sydney will benefit to the pxlentofnboufc,£3so,ooo (he University of Brisbane to the extent of .£200,000, and the Prosbvtcrian Chnrcb to tho extent of ,£150.000.
