ENTERTAINMENTS

THE DANDIES. Tho Dandies are providing a Ijritjlit, snappy littlo entertainment nightly at the Concert Chamber. The new programme includes a varied selection of revue numbers, graceful ballads, amusing sketches, and some very excellent instrumental numbers. The singing of Miss Mndoline Knight (mezzo) mid Mr. Eenn Miller is a great treat, and the recital of "The Courtship of Miles Standish" iby Mrs. I.enore Graham is an item ali budding elocutionists should hear. Miss Kitty Gelhor's elmrminglysiing monologues at Hie piano are especially plonsing, and Mr. Harry Cooper's playing of Raff's "Cavafina" is i'uJl of merit. The accompaniments of Miss Gelbor should be especially mentioned.

EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. In "A Soul Without Windows," which commences at: Everybody's Theatre today, Ethel Clayton'is said to bo responsible for 11 charming impersonation of a nameless little orphan, who has been taken in and adopted by adherents of a strange sect. As u thoroughly normal girl, with all natural leanings towards the world and her future, she is sternly repressed. Naturally the world has niany attractions for her, seeing that all its beauties are painted as beiug the work of the devil, and she consequently displays much eagerness to go out into Iho world. The story, it is stated, has much that is attractive and novel, and deals with real human people in a realistic manner. The supporting programme includes the sixth episode of "Tlio Fighting Trail." THE KING'S THEATRE. Mack Sennett's first big special superpicture, "Mickey," with Mabel Normand in tho title role, is claimed to be as superior to "The Whip," "Sporting Life," ajid other Drury Lano successes as solid gold is to gold plate. The sensations include » railo and a quarter race, a stand-up fight in good old AngloSaxon sfyle, ami a,race between a motorcar and an express train. There is pathos in a motherless child's devotion tor her father," and laughter unrestrained in Mickey's "Nonnandcsquo" stunts. Tho whole is said to bo rich in everything that is necessary for a super-pro-duction. The song "Mickey" was inspired by Miss Normand's performance, and this will be sung by Miss Eileen Driscoll prior to tho picture's screening.
